Southend FM Battle of the Bands Final

Heist return to the practically Mediterranean setting of Southend Seafront for the climax of Southend Fm's Battle of the Bands.
Saturday 8th November, 5pm - 7pm in the Sealife Centre Car Park.
However, if the weather is bad the venue will be changed to Chinnerys, which is also on the seafront (about 100m's from the Sealife centre).
Be great to see you all there.

Yes, it has finally happened Heist are going to be dodging lowered fiesta's and avoiding the swarming hoardes of London daytrippers that flood to the Thames Estuaries paradise that is; Southend Seafront!!
This Saturday 11th October, Heist will be competing to make it through to the Semi-finals of the Southend FM Battle of the Bands.
Yes, it's on between 5pm and 7pm and yes, it's on at the same time as the England match and yes, it's October and it's an outside gig and yes, it's on Sarfend Seafront but still it might be quite fun, so bring your brolly's and get involved this Sat between 5pm and 7pm,

Heist at the Astoria!!

Hi All,
Hope you’re all well.
Just a quick message to say we’re playing at the Astoria 2, on Friday 3rd October, 8:15pm.
Astoria 2, Charring Cross, London.
It’s one of the UK’s top live music venues and is a real privilege to play there.
So, if any of you would like to see Heist play at this fabulous venue, either turn up on the night or contact us for an advance ticket.
Advance ticket, £8, or £10 on the door.
It looks like Heist unfortunately did not make it through to the C4 Unsigned Comp. But we’d just like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for voting and supporting us, we really appreciate it. THANKS.

Heist Enter Mobile Act Unsigned.... Please Help!!!!

Hi All,
Hope everyone is keeping well. This message is an urgent call for help, we have at the last minute decided to enter Channel 4’s ‘Mobile Act Unsigned’ Competition.
Last year was the competitions 1st year with a few hundred bands applying which meant they could audition nearly all of them. However this year thousands and thousands of bands have entered, so they’ve set up a website where ‘Fans’ can vote for their favourite bands. The top 25 bands with the most votes get to audition in front of Jo Whiley, Simon Gavin and Alex James and hopefully will be featured on the Sat morning show.
So guess what’s coming next?..... Yes we need your votes, please.

Upcoming Gigs!!!!

Heist have three gigs lined up over the next month or so.
Firstly Heist will be lending their support to Lisa Clarke in her bid to become Miss Essex Fm. Miss Clarke is hosting an event at the Freight House in Rochford on Fri 22nd August.
The evening will be a 'Casino' based night with plenty of fun and frollocks to be had afterwards with a special acoustic performance from Heist followed up by a DJ playing through till the early hours of Sat morning. (Please drop us an Email for info on how to get tickets.)
Heist's next gig will be playing at their 1st Festival.
They have beaten off 100's of other bands to win a spot on 'Retrofest's' New Acts Stage.
The Festival takes place just outside Glasgow on the weekend of the 30th/31st August. For more information go to www.retrofest.co.uk
Lastly Hesit will be playing at Foyle's Fashion week in N Ireland on the 25th September. This event will be the culmination of a week of events in Derry / Londonderry and across the region which will showcase autumn/winter '08 collections from the best in high-street fashion, the most sought after designers, and the finest in local design. The North West's glitterati will gather to celebrate the end of the first Foyle Fashion Week in style at the Red Rooms, Derry, the hottest venue in town, where Heist will be flying in to rock the event in style.
